Mailbox Monday!

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Mailbox Monday is hosted by The Printed Page.  Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

This week was a busy one!  BER on Wednesday and Spotlight on Books Friday and Saturday!  I did get some reading in though.....

I read Elphame's Choice and am almost finished reading Brighid's Quest by P.C. Cast on the Kindle.  I am so pleased that I had the Kindle because when Elphame's was over I still wanted more story and was thrilled to learn that Brighid's was the sequel - just had to download!  No having to go looking for a copy of the book in the middle of the night!  Enjoyed them both.

I bought a number of books at Spotlight:
Touching Spirit Bear, The Ghost of Spirit Bear, and Rescue Josh McGuire by Ben Mikaelsen.  (I also got to meet him and sit next to him during Henry Cole's presentation!)
Lost in the Wild by Ryan Jacobson, A Nest for Celeste by Henry Cole, The Cat and the Canvas by Deb Mercier, Abercrombie Trail by Candace Simar, I Hear the Wind by Greg Budig, and Finnigin and the Star Jar by Christine Berg.

Just in case I wasn't already overwhelmed by the sheer numbers listed above - I also got Changeless by Gail Carriger from my friend Kathy, Blood Game by Iris Johansen at the restaurant where we had dinner on Saturday (who dercieded to put a bookstore in the bakery?), Lisa Jackson's Malice at the grocery store on Friday, and Shapeshifter by Holly Bennett from the Early Reviewers at Library Thing!

Add all those to the stack I have checked out the MC at my school: Intertwined by Gena Showalter, Voices of Dragons by Carrie Vaughn, and The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting - - I should see the backside of my TBR pile sometime in the next 40 years or so!
